A pioneer in the field, ScanDigital still does all of its scanning right here in the United States, one of the few that doesn't outsource scanning overseas. This results in higher quality scans and a faster turnaround time than anyone else in the industry.
And with our exclusive partnership, we are now able to upload all scanned photos, negatives and slides directly to the photo.com web site. They go right into your Collections folder with all of your other photos, and can be organized any way you'd like.
We've partnered with ScanDigital, one of the first and best digital scanning companies, to bring you this new service. Together, we can handle just about any format including color photos, black and white photos, slides, negatives, and even Polaroids. All scanning is done by hand. Unlike others, we never auto-feed scanners, since they tend to produce low-quality scans that don't measure up to our standards.
Scanning is easy, safe and only takes about a week. Here is how it works:
1: You mail your photos to us at Scan Digital
Just generate a UPS label from the ScanDigital site and ship us the photos you want scanned.
We'll track the shipment with our advanced tool that keeps your photos secure from start to finish.
2: We scan and color correct your photos
We provide high quality scanning using the best scanners on the market today. All images arecropped, rotated and color-corrected manually. We even remove dust and minor blemishes.
3: We mail back originals & upload the digitals
About a week later, we send back all of your originals and a CD or hard drive with your digital images.
We also upload all of your photos directly to photo.com, putting them into Collections that you specify.
4: You share & create with your new digital photos!
Now that all of your photos are digital and uploaded to photo.com, you can share them, post them to Facebook or create one of a kind photobooks, greeting cards and calendars.
